I have seen Are PÜR Cosmetics in Sephora many many times and I wanted to see if thei brand which is still a bit newer was GLuten Free!

So I sent them an e-mail in febraru 2020 and this is what I got:

It turns out that YES PÜR Cosmetics ARE Gluten Free in SOME of the cosmetics! They were very happy to send me a list of products that were Gluten Free too! But not ONLY do they have a list of Gluten Free products, they are also Vegan, 100% Cruelty Free and BPA FREE! They are ALL the Free's and more!

What a great cosmetic brand to do this to the makeup that people put on their faces! They do not touch or harm animals, not even animal ingredients and they are free of other harsher chemicals in cosmetics. If you are curious about a Are PÜR Cosmetics product feel free to e-mail them so they can tell you if that product is Gluten Free or not!

I have seen Pixi beauty cosmetics at the store Target a lot and I know they are VERY well known for their amazing Pixi Toner Tonic that they sell by the gallons ( literally you can buy a gallon if it on their website).

So I wanted to see if Pixi Beauty Cosmetics were Gluten Free or not!

In February 2020 I sent them an e-mail through their website and this is what I got:

Sadly Pixi Beauty Cosmetics are NOT Gluten Free and they are NOT even Vegan. Which to me are two BIG NO's NO's! I understand how some companies are not Gluten Free but we are in times where being Vegan is at an all time HIGH and we do not need any animal ingredients in our cosmetics.

I wanted to see if the cosmetic brand Lancôme that I see all over department store counters ever since I was little was Gluten Free or not! Most of the time the classic, old school type brands like this one are not. 

So in February 2020 I jumped on the Lancôme website and contacted them, this is the reply I received:

Now this reply was a bit confusing. Instead of saying a simple "yes" or "no" they gave me a definition of refinement of gluten in products, and that they have strict guideline limits on ones that are not refined etc.. 

SO for me this whole thing sounds like a NO Lancôme is NOT Gluten Free, BUT I will e-mail them again and try to get some kind of clarification with a simpler answer.

Burt's Bees is known for its fresh, and clean cosmetics and lip balms. SO I wanted to ask them if they were Gluten Free!

I sent them a message through Twitter in December 2019 and this is what I got:

Sadly Burt's Bees Cosmetics are INCONCLUSIVE when it come to Gluten Free, meaning they did not give a yes or not answer, they just told me that the products are manufactured in a non-gluten free environment.  I will need to send them an e-mail through the website to find out more!

Sadly beautiful Laura Mercier Cosmetics are NOT Gluten Free. I hope one day they will be because those highlighters are gorgeous!

Now when I think or see Flower Beauty at Target I think of Drew Barrymore and her clean, fresh, organic lifestyle. I never tried Flower Beauty but I thought for sure this line must be clean and probably Gluten Free. 

So in February 2020 I jumped online on Flower Beauty .com and contacted them on their contact area. This is what I got:

I am so disappointed in Flower Beauty cosmetics because I thought out of all the brands of cosmetics this one would be Gluten Free. But sadly Flower Beauty Cosmetics are NOT Gluten Free. 

I have a feeling though if you bring that to Drew Barrymore's attention she would consider it since her brand is based on fresh and clean makeup.

Revlon Cosmetics brand is a known name in the pharmacy world, and a tried and true cosmetic brand. You will always see a display in the stores for Revlon and the wildly fun commercials on TV for the newest products. So I had to know is this tried and true classic company a Gluten Free one? 

In February 2020 I contacted them on Revlon's site and this is what I got:

As you can see it is the same with the older, classic brands that Revlon Cosmetics are NOT Gluten Free.

Are Covergirl Cosmetics Gluten Free? A List of Gluten Free Cosmetic Brands 2020!

Covergirl cosmetics is a brand that I have been using since I was a teenager and the first product I used was the Clean pressed powders and blushes. I love Covergril cosmetics and I used the powder again and started to itch on my face. Gluten in products can cause a rash, itchiness, it can also make you feel dizzy, nauseous etc... I never itched before in the decades I used it and SO I NEEDED to find out if Covergirl Cosmetics my tried and true never failing classic brand was Gluten Free or not. 

On February I jumped on the website and contacted them. This is what I got:

I am BEYOND disappointed in Covergirl and especially in the person who responded to me in this e-mail. 

The ONE thing companies should NEVER do is tell consumers information that may not be 100% accurate. Companies usually start off with this type of scholarly, Google-ish search "information" as a defection to show that their products are "safe" and that your reasoning to ask should not be of concern. They basically don't want to lose you as a customer so they try to control how you view the products so you can continue to still buy them. 

If your doctor, and other proven, credited sites tell you that you should avoid Gluten, ALL Gluten, your cosmetics should be taken into account. It is a PROVEN fact that those who should stay away from Gluten should NEVER put cosmetic products that go on your lips ON your lips! Lip products are the most hazardous because we ingest them. We lick our lips, we eat foods with lipsticks on and so forth. 

So when I get such a dumb response from a cosmetic company who do not simply say "yes" or "no" or "we process them on the same line as other gluten products" it shows that they are MOST concerned with themselves and keeping you as a customer. 

So NO Covergirl Cosmetics who has been my tried and true brand is NOT Gluten Free!

Covergirl came out with a Clean Fresh line of cosmetics and they are not so clean and fresh because they lack being Gluten Free.

Glossy Glossy are the Glossier Cosmetics every time I see them! I think of natural, light, flushed, and glowy skin when I see photos of Glossier cosmetics. I wanted to see if this beautiful brand was Gluten Free and I jumped on the Glossier Instagram page and contacted them! 

I sent them a DM in their messenger on Instagram and in February 2020 and this is what they said:

Glossier Cosmetics ARE Gluten Free and we can ALL enjoy that glossy glossy pretty glowy skin! But they also brought something to my attention.... and that was GRAINS! I am only asking about Gluten Free because Grain Free is a WHOLE other topic that I hope to check and see in other brands how they deal with it. 

Please note I only asked Glossier about the cosmetics not the skin care, because they also sell some skin care items, so the Gluten Free applies to the cosmetics in my finding case here.
